The Role
We are recruiting a Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a few years’ driving experience, ready to progress their career. There are opportunities for funded training and professional development, in particular, the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training so you can gain your 7.5 tonne (Category C1) licence. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in collecting, transporting, and delivering confidential materials between customer sites and our facilities. Responsibilities
- Safely collect, transport, and deliver confidential materials between customer sites and company facilities
- Accurately complete all documentation relating to collections and deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and promptly report defects
- Follow all health, safety, and legal requirements, including safe loading and unloading procedures
- Comply with UK road traffic laws and driving hours regulations
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organisation
- Support wider operational activities as required
- Assist the marketing team by distributing leaflets and promotional material
- Ensuring high performance and productive work to hit efficiency targets
- Feedback learning and market information to colleagues
Skills & Experience
- Valid UK driving licence (minimum Category B)
- At least 2 years’ professional driving experience
- Good knowledge of the UK road network
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undertake and pass CPC training (funded by company)
- Ability to obtain and hold a 7.5t (Category C1) licence
- Satisfactory DBS check (due to handling confidential materials)
- Good physical fitness for manual handling and loading
- Understand, appreciate and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data.

Working Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Part-time or flexible working may be considered for the right candidate.
