Chaffinch's Journey Begins
Chaffinch is established in Stoke-on-Trent as a document storage company, operating from a compact storeroom with our first customer storing 12 boxes.
July 2012
Chaffinch Expands Premises
Chaffinch relocates to larger premises in Stoke-on-Trent, significantly increasing our document storage capacity to 20,000 boxes.
January 2013
Chaffinch Diversifies Offering
Chaffinch introduces confidential paper shredding and scanning services covering Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Shropshire.
October 2014
Chaffinch Acquires Knightstor
Chaffinch acquires Knightstor Archive Storage Limited in Shropshire and opens an additional document storage facility.
November 2016
Chaffinch Acquires WN Security Shredding
Chaffinch acquires WN Security Shredding Limited in Shropshire, leading to the nationwide expansion of our shredding operation.
October 2018
Chaffinch Moves to New Headquarters
Purchase of headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent and the initiation of a £2 million property investment program to support our future growth.
December 2020
Chaffinch Acquires Quantor Scanning
Chaffinch acquires Quantor Scanning Limited in the West Midlands, propelling us into the national digital transformation space.

Chaffinch Implements BigChange
Chaffinch adopts the BigChange job management system to enhance productivity, foster growth, and elevate customer satisfaction.

Chaffinch Builds New Storage Facility
New data management facility construction underway at our headquarters, adding 4,000 sqft (35,000 boxes) of document storage space.

Chaffinch Launches Aviary DMS
Chaffinch launches Aviary, a cloud-hosted document management system (EDMS), expanding our software offering.

Chaffinch Partners with Klippa
Chaffinch is now a Klippa Implementation Partner, allowing us to deploy DocHorizon, intelligent document processing technology.
