We are delighted to announce that our brand new £1.25 million warehousing facility in Middleport has opened.

We have invested heavily in the 4,200 square feet facility strategically at the Tileworks, in Ellgreave Street and have designed and constructed the facility from the ground up – something we are very proud of.

The development accompanies the complete refurbishment of our headquarters which is co-located on the same site, showcasing our commitment to both innovation and regeneration of the area.

Founded in 2011 we now employ 21 people including two newly created positions in the warehouse facility to support our expanding operations.

During the summer, we also underwent a full rebrand and launched a brand-new website.

Chief Executive Officer Alastair Machin says he’s proud of our growth and out positive impact on the area: “Since I launched the company thirteen years ago, we have continued to expand our team and services. Our new warehouse facility is an integral part of our ongoing expansion plans. Importantly, this initiative goes beyond our business; it’s about contributing to the regeneration of a region that has faced significant challenges in the wake of post-industrial decline. As a local resident, this mission holds great personal significance for me.”

Alastair added: “Chaffinch is a modern, dynamic company with ambitious goals. By building our brand and contributing to local revitalisation, we can create a win-win situation for everyone involved.”
